The first sweet red wine from the Douro Valley: NATURALLY SWEET, low alcohol content. Young wine, reminiscent of tasting the grape juice when harvesting. It should be served very cold and drunk in a relaxed way.

Old Vines field blend.

VINIFICATION:

Manual picking of the grapes at the beginning of October,not getting to be by botrytis cinerea. After a careful selection at the vineyard and transportation into 20 kg boxes, the grapes were then totally destemmed and crushed. The pre-fermented maceration took place at cold (10°-12°C), as well as the alcoholic fermentation (below 25°C), with homogenization by the traditional foot treading (pisa a pé) process, for higher extraction of colour and aroma, always in open "lagares", with the interior made of stainless steel and controlled temperature.
